At the tail end of NYFW, Esa (evolving sustainable apparel) hosted a party showcasing the spring previews of three talented eco-friendly designers. Esa is a NYC-based group founded by five women that focuses on highlighting sustainable practices in the fashion industry, education, and featuring emerging designers.
The designers showing at the Esabitchin’ event, Study NY, Zero Waste Daniel, and Lindy Fox, have all taken a stance to create clothing with a conscience. The event was an intimate affair filled with live performances, model presentations, and an eclectic collection of artwork.
The Urban Watch had an opportunity to be able to see the clothes up close and to engage with the designers and esa founders about their take on sustainable fashion.
